Executive Summary

Product Vision

Membership One is a comprehensive, modular, multilingual, cloud-based software platform purpose-built for the European sports and fitness industry. It serves sports clubs, fitness studios, dance and martial arts schools, youth organizations, municipal sports facilities, company sports groups, and rehabilitation centers with a single integrated solution that covers the full spectrum of administration, operations, communication, marketing, and financial management.

The European market currently lacks a modern, scalable platform that combines club management with studio management in a single product. Existing solutions either target clubs (with volunteer-oriented features like committee work and association interfaces) or studios (with commercial features like check-in terminals and contract management) -- but never both. Membership One closes this gap.

Market Opportunity

The fragmented European sports management software market is dominated by point solutions and legacy desktop applications. Our analysis of 50+ competitors reveals that no single platform delivers all six capabilities that sports organizations need:

  1. Combined Club and Studio Management -- One platform for both volunteer-run clubs and commercial fitness studios, eliminating the need for separate systems
  2. Tournament and Event Planning -- Integrated scheduling, participant management, sponsor coordination, and ticketing for competitions and events
  3. Resource and Space Management -- Intelligent booking, utilization tracking, and forecasting for rooms, equipment, courts, and facilities
  4. White-Label and Franchise Support -- Multi-tenant architecture with full branding customization, enabling franchise networks and umbrella organizations
  5. Mobile-First, API-First Architecture -- Cross-platform native apps, offline capability, and open APIs (REST, GraphQL, Webhooks) for third-party integration
  6. Integrated Payment Service -- Built-in billing, SEPA direct debit, EFT, cash and cashless payment processing via the proven Cash360 payment engine

Relationship to Cash360

Membership One leverages the existing Cash360 platform for all payment processing, invoicing, and banking operations (SEPA, EBICS). The integration is exclusively via API -- Membership One is an independent product with its own codebase, deployment, and release cycle. Cash360 serves as the financial backbone, providing battle-tested transaction processing, bank account management, and PDF/email template generation. This architecture avoids code-level coupling while reusing proven payment infrastructure that handles millions of transactions.

Path to Commercial Viability

The rollout strategy follows a three-phase approach designed to validate before scaling:

  • Phase 1 -- Controlled Soft Launch (<10 clients): Onboard hand-selected clubs and studios, gather feedback, stabilize the product
  • Phase 2 -- Market Entry (website, basic visibility): Launch public website, publish documentation, begin inbound marketing with content strategy
  • Phase 3 -- Growth (broader marketing): Scale through direct sales, partner network, white-label offerings, trade show presence, and referral programs

Initial geographic focus: DACH, expanding across Europe.

Strategic Goal

Transform Membership One into a commercially viable SaaS product that becomes the default choice for European sports organizations seeking a modern, integrated management platform -- combining the depth of enterprise solutions with the simplicity and affordability that small clubs and studios demand.
